In addition to the regular Residency Programme, Sanskriti has had many collaborative projects with institutions from other countries wherein foreign and Indian artists have lived and worked together on specific projects. They often used Indian materials, crafts and skills in exploring common themes and benefited immensely from the international exchanges.
The Search Within (Indo-Austrian Project) 1998-1999
Werner Dornik of Austria, together with the Austria-India Association and Indian Council for Cultural Relations, promoted this project.
The Exhilaration of Life (British Council Project) 2001
Sanskriti in association with the British Council and Delhi Blue Pottery organized a pottery workshop. Sandy Brown, a contemporary artist conducted a four-day workshop with studio potters at the Kendra.
Bond Beyond Borders (South Asian Project) 2001-2002
This Programme was initiated by Sanskriti to facilitate greater interaction between creative people of the South Asian region and to evolve a shared perspective. Thirteen participants from Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, mainly writers and visual artists lived and worked at the Kendra. This programme was funded by the Ford Foundation.

FICA
As part of the Emerging Artist Award instituted by the Foundation of Indian Contemporary Art, the awardee will get to undertake a two-month residency at the Sanskriti Kendra to produce a body of work for an exhibition at the Vadehra Art Gallery.
